Purple Nail Beds?

Hi Ladies,

I am currently 14+1 and noticed this morning my nail beds have gone purple....not something I have ever noticed before so they are definitely different to normal.

Circulation seems slow to return to my hands too.

Is this something to worry about? Has anyone had or heard of similar? I feel fine otherwise.

Will try and post a pic if it will show up on my camera.

I wouldn't worry too much but keep an eye on it and either discuss it with your Midwife at your 16 week appointment or, if you do get concerned, give your Midwife a quick call.

Lots goes on in our bodies in Tri 1 going into Tri 2 so you'll no doubt notice more oddities happening in the coming weeks. Xx
