Preseed?

Just wondered who is using/has used preseed?
where do I get it from?
any offers anywhere?
why is it so good?
is it better than not using anything?
any successful BFPs after a long term TTC and then using preseed?

My first month using pre seed I got bfp but it didn't stick. I am still using it i'm only on 5th cycle ttc. I get mine from sme-fertility .co. uk but in saying that I've decided to buy in boots now as it works out about the same due to postage fees. That site does have some other great deals though. Sorry I haven't got much infor for you hun xx

I don't know how good it is, and haven't tried it, but have read lots of things on line about it being marvellous. I know you can get it on amazon but it seems quite expensive for lube!
If you are taking clomid i think its probably a good idea as its supposed to dry things out a bit (your ticker says taking clomid)

Can I ask you your experience on clomid? My sister is taking it and having a bit of a rough time.

flisstebbs - I've been taking clomid since April, my last cycle was 50 days, not sure if that was because of clomid or not but I have noticed that I've been getting pregnancy symptoms while taking it - in particular nausea, more CM, some dizziness and slight headaches.

What dose are you on? The specialist is trying to get her to have a cycle as she's had no periods for 2 yrs now. This month they want her to take a course of provera and then 150mg of clomid for 5 days. She got blurry vision and sickness while taking the 100mg clomid last cycle so a bit worried for her

I'm only on 50mg - I had blurred vision when I was on the injection though (before TTC)

I think it's worryingly quite common with taking a high dosage of something that changes your whole cycle - My doc didn't believe me though and just laughed when I said I had blurred vision, hope your sister has better luck with her doc.

PS - I have just read my instruction leaflet that comes with clomid and it says 'stop taking clomid and see doctor straight away if you have blurring of vision or spots or flashes in front of the eyes.These symptoms usually get better but in some cases they may be permanent, your doctor may send you for an eye examination'

I'm not using pre-seed, but just got some conceive plus (haven't used it yet) - strangely I got it from Ebay along with 30 cheapy OPK's and 10 cheapy HPT's - got it for £18 including postage. Maybe worth a look, as for mine I could choose whether to have Conceive Plus or Pre-seed, and the quantity of each type of test.

I bought preseed but didn't use it the month we conceived as it had run out. I bought it off of ebay and had to pick it up from the post office. The only thing was there was a label on the package saying lubricant lol. I've read good things about it though.x

I used it the month I got my BFP. Mind you I was throwing everything at it that month AC, temping, OPKs, legs in the air after DTD. There was also the infamous incident of me literally goading DH into BD when I realised I might be OVing a day later than expected. Don't worry he soon recovered from the crying and rocking in a corner afterwards......

I've used this before, found it really good. Got a BFP in feb with it, i found the best deal on amazon, it is sperm friendly and mimics natural CM

We've been using it, we're now on month 5. It feels nice, I've got sensitive skin/allergies and it doesn't irritate in the slightest. You don't need as much as they say you do though. Start off with a little and you can always increase it if you need to.

Agree with this ^^^ It's really gloopy and goes everywhere if you are not careful.

My cousin was on clomid early last year and had vaginal dryness. As a result she bought preseed for intercourse. She explained to me that the reason it is better than KY (for example) is that it has balanced ph levels, others are too thick and do not allow the sperm to move freely, also their ph levels can kill off the sperm. She thought this product was great and if I get the same symptons when I start clomid I will definitely be buying this product.

From what she has said if you don't need to use lub then don't, natural wetness is best....lol!!
