well 4th feb 2011 we find out we are expecting after loosing one the previous september

2 weeks later i started to bleed and went to hospital

following day i had an internal scan and was told gestational sac was comletely empty, no baby and no yolk sack. epau said it was up to me if i wanted my pregnanccy terminated or to loose it naturally - as there was no sign of a baby in there the reckoned it was lost at 4 weeks but because id not expelled it my body still thought i was pregnant

while sitting in room decided what to do mw comes back in,registrar wont terminate as a blood clot showed up on scan but there was a small chance it was a second sac so told to go back 3 weeks later to see if it was a blood clot or if it was a growing sac.

following week morning sickness kicks in so bad as body still though i was pregnant i asked epau to pull scan forward as if there was no baby i wnted it terminated as i was so ill.

go back at 8 weeks, turns out it was a lood clot but guess what, sonographer saw a flicker so did an internal scan and ther was my little baby, heartbeat flickering away - cry cry cry

10 weeks - morning sickness so bad not keeping a single thing down, mw sends me to hospital for injection for hyperemisis.

16 and 18 weeks go to a&e with terrible pains in back - got a water infection

20 weeks find out haing a little boy - cue shopping trip

29 weeks go to hospital with terrible itching have a kidney, liver and bile test done all clear.

34 weeks go to hospital with bad stomach pains - turns out im having contractions get given steroids twice in 2 hrs and admitted with possible prem labour - 7 hrs later contractions stop but iron levels drop to 9.9, get told im staying in. pulse still really high due to iron levels which drop further to 9.2, now on iron tabs and b12 injections, get discharged after 3 days.

36 weeks go to docs with terrible pain below turns out ive the cold sore virus and its a primary outbreak so go to hospital to discuss a c-section. they take bloods and send off to see if ive antibodies to it, if i do vaginal delivery if not c-section so not to pass to baby.

38 weeks - hospital calls bloods will be another 3 weeks so have to go in 4 days later for c-section as hospital wont risk it. 3 dayslater i go to hospital to get my meds.

38 weeks 4 days, 8am i turn up at hospital, at 2pm i finally get called into theatre after not being able to eat or drink since 10pm following day.
canular is put in, epidural done, cathetar put in, c-section starts

6th october 2011 15.17 jacl peake is born weighing 7lbs 15 oz

3 days later i go home and start life with my new newborn baby

thanks hun hope you are doing well?

ive recovered really well, actually recovered quicker than with my daughter which was a natural birth lol

ive hardly got a scar not that it would bother me though, but it was a great experience. Had a superb surgery team, the girl who actually did the c-section and delivered him was only 23 she did an amazing job.

because you dont have to go through labour which more than anything is really tiring you can cope alot better afterwards

hopefully i can have a c-section next time xx

Your not put off then if you saying 'next time' already! Glad your having a speedy recovery, we're doing ok, just got a greedy little boy who demands feeding every 2 hours!

oh bless him,are bbottle or breast feeding? if he is bottle feeding how much is he having and does he leave anything in the bottle?

yh def going to be a next time now ive automatically got the option of a c-section, i hadnt even left the theatre room when i asked if i could have a c-section next time lol

Lol, you are keen! I'm breast feeding so probably why he's so demanding!

oh right was going to say if it was bottle you counld monitor a bit better and if he wasnt leaving any in the bottle to add an extra ounce, that way if he leave any you know he was satisfied - advice from my heath visitor

apparently though bottle fed babies food takes longe to digest than breast milk which is why they dont go as long between feeds

god having first bleed since having the baby, my god i forgot how uncomfortable period pains were eek
