So.......as i will be moving to tri3 tomorrow i decided to do my final weight in. I was mortified to see id put on 2st 3lb since october 2014 (LMP) i know everyone varies but how much did you all put on prior to Tri3?xxxx

I can't remember my weight entering 28 weeks but I weighed myself a few weeks ago at about 36 weeks and Id gained nearly 3 stone ARGH! I'm trying to console myself as I dont *look* like I've gained that much weight and I'm definitly carrying water retention and I had a low body fat % prior to pregnancy so my bodies has been storing fat beyond my control.

Try not to stress about weight too much. It's not impossible to lose and it does go!

When I was pregnant with my first son in gained between 49-51lbs and was fat EVERYWHERE but I lost most of it within 3 months and even had my abs back, so it is possible!

I think at 28 weeks id put on about 10lbs, I've put on 1 and 1/2 stone now at 38 weeks. Before tri3 I was a little worried about my weight gain as I thought I wasn't gaining enough but I feel much better now

By 28 weeks I was around 3.5kg - 7/8 lbs. But I had def lost weight since my booking in appointment due to lower appetitie and going off food. At week 32 I am now at 5kg.

As long as you are healthy and happy then I don't think weight gain means too much. Some ladies have put on a few stone and some have even lost weight!! All that matters is that our wee baba's are growing safely :-)!

I had gained 1 stone 3lbs at the start of tri 3. I have been gaining 1lb a week every week since around 20 weeks. Amazing some people have gained just a few lbs but think it depends on so many different factors. My starting BMI was on the low side of average so though I have gained on the higher side I dont think it matters.

I was weighed on Thursday (34 weeks) and have put on 8lb since my booking appointment- I'm pleased as I didn't think it's too bad tbh.

I've not weighed myself this entire pregnancy cos frankly I don't care.

I spent a lot of time worrying with my first about putting weight on and being the size of a beached whale forever more. I put on three and a half stone in total. It was all gone within five months and I wish I'd never got so worked up about it all.

Even if you're careful with what you eat and exercise, it's not something you can control. For all I put on the weight I did, my son was 9lbs of it for a start and I was back to only being a stone over my pre-pregnancy weigh within a couple of weeks. So in reality about two and a half stone was baby, placenta, fluid etc and was nothing I had any control over anyway.

I've put on 2 stone 6lbs so it's more than Id like but I'm hoping I can stay below 3 stone. X

Me too - i think 3stone is my max. I know it will go after as im a motivated person etc and have a gym plan already sorted etc but im still worrying xxx

10lbs as of being weighed yesterday at hospital! Its more than I'd like as i did lose a lot at the beginning but hey ho i don't actually look like ive put weight on, im still all baby :)

I told my husband today that I'm not letting the midwife tell me how much I weigh when I get weighed next, she can write it in my notes and I'll look at it a few months after baby's born as I should have lost a fair chunk of it by then and it will make me feel like I can do it with the rest ;).

I think I put on 4lbs or so at 20weeks but then I went wild with my eating and suspect I'm around the 2stone mark x

Cant remember what i weighed each tri..
But 2 days before i gave birth i weighed 4st 2lbs heavier!!!!

Ive since lost all of this plus a few lbs more.
Honestly dw xx

Can't remeber what I weighed going into tri 3 but I put on a lot at the beginning and then didn't put any on for ages. I'm 37 +5 and I've put on about 2.5 stone in total x

Maybe around a 1stone 4lbs gain at 28 weeks. At 32 weeks I was up to 1stone 8lb gain. I haven't weighed this week as I had such crap eating all week.

I've got the motivation to lose everything after with the juice plus diet as I throughly enjoyed the change of eating habits and I suffer from bad IBS which has elevated during this pregnancy because of how much carbs and sugar I have eaten to compensate the sickness and nausea.

I will be breast feeding but I'm not at all concerned about any lack of nurtrients because the diet plan is full of healthy varieties. Xx

You don't usually keep your notes after the birth so you may need to look sooner!
