Poo!

I'm so sorry for the title!!! My 11 month-old poos A LOT and I wondered if it's abnormal. Sometimes 6 or 7 times a day but always at least twice. He's eating really well- a very balanced diet with every food group and plenty of water etc. His weight is fine- all as it should be. Would be interested to know if this seems very excessive. Sorry for the yucky subject!

It's a lot but I don't think it's abnormal, my lo would regularly poo around 5 times a day at that age! He's 18 months now and it's reduced to around 2 or 3 a day with occasionally only once a day x

As long as it doesn't get a rash or has odd colouring.. it's better than the opposite x

My daughter is 10m and she's similar! Atleast 3x a day! Think it's quiet normal! But my word I do wonder how much can actually come out of her?! Haha x

It is a bit more than average but as others have said, as long as it isn't an abnormal colour or very loose (or becomes either of these) or he begins to lose weight, I wouldn't worry (I'm a nurse, who works with pooing issues, all day ) x

Thanks girls, good to know! Ugh I wish it was a bit less though- he's v wriggly so nappy changing is a nightmare! But glad it's nothing to be concerned about
