Any advice on how to get poo stains out of clothes would be very much appreciated. Baillies tend to be particularly orange and wont come out.

Vanish works quite well. But the quicker you use it the better.

booby baby poo is evil... once its on something which not even a good soaking in bleach can remove it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

The only thing I've found is hanging it out in the sun and it gets bleached - works everytime.

I tried that but realised i actually don't get any sun on my washing line. It's a pain, i have trees all the way around and it completely blocks out the sun! Will be chopping them right back i think!

yep hang it in the sun if you dont have a line it works through a window to.. perhaos a bedroom window sill

I pop in wash straight away never had any probs yet and Coops is bright yellow!

I use vanish oxy action to get rid of poo stains, just remember to wash them again if you are concerned about chemicals in the vanish stuff.

I apply some ACE ASAP, give it a good scrub, then leave to soak for about 10 minutes before putting it into the washing machine.

Sunshine or vanish it is then!

Not that we get much in the west of bonny scotland!

Thanks guys!

Ariel biological washing powder.
Despite refusing to use any chemicals on my baby I've been quite happy using biological powder on her nappies. We switched to fairy non-bio liquid and it was useless! Her nappies were stained and smelly! So it's back to the ariel as it is a million times better.
You should be able to get ariel sensitive if you're bothered but DD has dry skin (that we oil so that it's not dry) as do OH and I and it hasn't bothered our skin. But different people react to different things.

I usually wash out the worst with washing up liquid, soak in Vanish and then put through the washing machine. I must say, the Vanish stuff is very good - didn't have this with the previous two children.

Repeated washing and sun are also good too, and I'd definitely agree that the sooner you treat the stain the more chance it has of coming out!!!
