Jo you are an amazing person and I really admire your strength chick. I had a traumatic birth with paris as you know, very similar to yours actually. I got PND bad too.
At least you have recognised you are feeling a bit down
Thanks girls, Im not particularily worried as I got myself back on track last time and know I can do it again... I have alot of support from hubby and family too. I just dont really think its depression as I feel different to last time, now I feel like my heads all over the place, stressed and really anxious but not depressed as such....
Ive got alot on my plate... we're buying a house at mo, paying off debt, organising christening along with being a mum and never stopping
I think when you have a picture/dream in your head about something and then its dashed into a thousand pieces, you need to mourn your dream before you can move on. Basically you are mourning that perfect dream...
I had a perfect dream about leaving the hospital with lil miss...and that was dashed to the floor, and I took it really hard, even DH did... and shortly after I felt quite depressed.
Your experience was so traumatic that maybe you are having some major issues about it. Speaking to your GP or anyone about this, will help immensely.
Yey! Really glad you went to the docs about it and got some piece of mind.
