I KNow This Is Going To Sound Very Silly But Did Your baby's Get A 6 Week Checkup When They Were 6 Weeks.
My Friend Adeles Little Boy Is 9 Weeks Now And He Had His 6 Week Checkup Bang On 6 Weeks But Keryn Is Over 7 Weeks now And Still Hasnt Had Hers I was Getting Worried, My Health Visitor Said She should Be sent Out A Letter With A Date For her Appointment On It But I Still havent Recieved One. Y Do They Call It A 6 Week Check Up If Its Not On 6 Weeks

Its Just When I Went Up For My 6 Week Post Natal Check My health Visitor Said She Hasnt got an appointment Yet And Went aNd Got her Wee Folder Thingy And It Says The Next Free Appointment Isn't Until The end Of September N Keryn Will b 12 weeks Is That Ok?

The should really see her before then as they can't have there injections until they have had there check up. Aimee had hers at 8 weeks then her needle straight after.

its alright i got a letter through the post this morning and she has her 6 week review on the 7th of september
will she get another letter in with an appointment for her imunisations?? or do i have to fone up and make appointments?

i got a letter through the post it was a 8week cheak and at the same time they done his jabs

they will send you a pink letter louise for her jabs its like a pay slip you have to tare open at the sides and the bottom :D
it was the day after colbys assesment she got her first lot of jabs :(

I never got a pink letter.

It must vary according to where you live.

I was advised by my HV to book an appointment at my GP for my post natal check up. When I called to make the appointment they booked me in for my post natal check up for 8 weeks after the birth and Isaac had his check up got the all clear from the GP to have his jabs and had them immediately after my check up.

He's got his second course tomorrow, hopefully he'll be as good as last time. He went to sleep 2 seconds after the jabs after screaming his head off when the needle went in.

i got another letter through the door about her immunisations shes to go on monday but the appointment for her immunisations are before her 6 week check up is that right? i thought they were ment 2 have their 6 week check up first??

yeah they are supposed to have their 6 week check first hun

give them a ring and see if they have maybe got the dates mixed up.
Just give your HV a ring either that or they will just keep both appointments but give her injections on the latest dated one, if that makes sence.

Hope you both are keeping well hun

 xxxxx
