Please help with results from growth scan....

Ok had my growth scan this morning and they said all is well etc...

However, as we all do, I have been reading my notes and they read as follows:

Head circumference: 302.0mm (which is a fraction over the average line)

Abdominal circumference: 300.0mm (which is right at the top of the graph lines)

Femur length: 63.2mm (which is a little bit over the average line - more than the head)

Est fetal weight: 2263g (which is 4.98lbs)

Does this mean my baby has an unusally large tummy???

As long as your are within the graph lines then I wouldn't worry. I had the opposite readings, baby had a small abdominal circumference, which is more worrying as it can indicate that the placenta is not efficiently providing for the baby which they mentioned. If they have told you that everything is normal and well then don't worry, they will alert you if there is a problem. You just have a healthy, well nurited baby

Im exactly the same, perfect shaped head for dates, but his tummy is a week or so bigger!

I was worried my baby had a head bigger/measuring older than its abdomen but was told it was completely normal. Found a website here with some measurements if it's any help? It certainly put my mind at rest!
