Pink discharge?

I'm about 5 weeks 6 days. Was laying in bed this morning and I felt a lot wetter 'down there' than I have so far so I ran to the loo. After wiping I noticed there was pink. Didn't look like blood but it wasn't clear.. it was pink. Now I'm worried something is wrong.

Is this normal? I've had zero bleeding or spotting so far and nothing like this at all. I'm so scared that we're going to lose our miracle.

Ring the gp and get some advice. It could be nothing but best have your mind put at rest x

Anyone here have this and everything carried on fine and normal?

I'm sure lots of people have, if I can think back 6 years I think I might possibly have had some pink on the toilet paper with my daughter and that was all fine. Best to get checked out though. Xx

Hi Mille I am still getting this. I know it's horrible when see anything red or pink when go to the loo but unless you are bleeding it shouldn't be anything to worry about xx

I'd call the gp too just for some reassurance. I know I had some red with Imogen, a bit earlier on but it was like AF colour blood but just a little. Has it stopped now xxx

They say pink and brown can be totally normal I know it's so scary though xx

I think it might still be there but hubby is hogging the bathroom while he gets ready for work so can't check. I just threw a pad on and got back in bed, I'll check soon as he's out.
I really hope it's normal xx

Ok looks good, pad is clean and no more pink when I wipe

The midwife told me if its pink or brown and not more than a teaspoon amount , that its usually normal. She said its because the body is forming a mucas plug and when this happens it can cause coloured discharge (old blood, internal stretching, e.t.c.).
I had some light brown spotting a few times on and off around the 6 week mark. I know it can be alarming but it can be completely normal. If it gets worse or heavy then definitely ring the GP. xx

It defo wasn't much at all but it scared me as no spotting or anything up to this point!

I had rang the Gp and spoke to receptionist, she was having problems with the line so said she'd call me back in a couple of minutes! Well it's been 20 and she hasn't phoned back lol. I won't bother them again unless I see anymore I think xx

Lol ok they only just phoned back, booked me in with a doctor for this afternoon and said they'll test for urine infection just incase. I'm feel for sure it's nothing now as still had no more pink when I wipe. I just panicked for nothing lol but at least going to see a doctor who will tell me it's nothing (I hope!) will make me feel better!
Now to chill until 3.30!

Dont worry its easy to panic at these things and if I were to get more spotting I would probably panic again! It's good your doctor anyway and will put your mind at rest.

Is it still light pink spotting? Urine infections can see cause that so try not to panic..I know it's impossible not to though xxx

Yes still pinky but there was a tiny dot of red in it when I checked last
Really trying not to worry but it's so hard!!

Could your gp maybe do bloods 48 hours apart for reassurance xxx
