We are going to spain for 2 weeks in july my aunt was gonna come and stay here and look after our dog while we were away she did it last yr etc but she has just rang up and sed she dont want her ne more ( my poor baby girl not wanted )
neway was just wondering wot u do with ur pets wen u go away, im not to sure on a kennels as dunno if gen would like it be ok??
i really need ur advice as were gonna need to have summit sorted asap incase they get booked up etc

Kennels are probably your best bet to be honest unless theres another friend or family member that can take care of her, but go by recomendations from other dog owners in your area...maybe theres a local dog lovers forum or something you could join to get some feedback?

I was really worried about leaving Baileys in a kennel too hun because she is so spoiled but she was fine. I found a kennel (here in Hungary) that was ran by a vets practice so i knew the dogs would be looked after. Ask if you can speak to anyone else who has used them before and make sure its a kennel that exercises the dogs on a lead for walks rather than just in a big open kennel. Always have a look round the kennel, you can normally tell from the other dogs how they are treated. If its all tails wagging and jumping about then you should be fine, if the dogs are subdued and just laying down listlessly then find a different kennel.

we dont hav a dog, we hav 2 cats, but usually when we go away we give a friend or relative the keys to our house and they can either live there while were gone or pop in every day.

Our dog hates being left with anyone, he sulks till we get back for him, but we found this place and he loves it there, doesn't want to leave when we go to pick him up hehe Don't know if it's near you? I do hope you find somewhere that puts your mind at ease

Oh no hun thats aweful.
Kilo would hate to go to a kennel he would cry the whole time.
The only person he is ever left with is my dad.

when we went to america in january, i was going to put my 2 into kennels, but hated the thought of it.

my sister kindly moved in for the week to look after them, and they were spoilt rotten

is there any other relative who could look after her?
