So I've just started my first period since giving birth nearly 5 weeks ago and I am hating it! Before I got pregnant I would always use tampons as I hate the feeling when using pads but obviously can't use them yet as I haven't had my check up. The strange thing is though is that I haven't had any cramping. I'm not complaining but just find it a bit odd. Has anyone else had this?x

Potentially stupid question but are you sure it's your period? I'm four weeks post birth and I'm still getting some bleeding from that. I assume you aren't Breast feeding if your periods are back? X

I'm exclusively breastfeeding and my periods returned at about 8-9 weeks PP. It's horrible, I thought I'd get a break from AF but nope. No such luck. I was also hoping having a baby might change how horrendous and messed up my cycles are but again, no such luck. :(

My first PP AF I didn't have any cramping. Just woke up one morning to discover AF had arrived. This second AF though the cramping was horrendous. I think the first PPAF is always a bit wacky from my personal experience. (((((HUGS)))))

Mum2many what was your feeding schedule like when they returned - I'm interested in when mine much return. Had you stopped needing to do night feeds at that point or anything like that that you think might have spurred them into returning? X

I stopped bleeding about 3 weeks ago so I'm assuming it's my period. Plus the flow is different and just feels like a period x

My baby is only 12 weeks old. She's feeding at least 3x during the night, and quite a few times during the day... Every 4-6 hours at least....
