Periods coming off the pill

This is going to sound a daft question but here goes anyway!!

I stopped taking cezarette on the 28th and had a bleed on the 29th for 3 days. Does this indicate that my periods are likely to return pretty quickly? I am confused?! I could wait and see but am so impatient! Does this give any indication by your experience anyone?

I wouldn't like to say that your periods would come regular straight away from that one bleed cause it wasnt a natural period that you can that was a pill induced one!!! when I came off the pill I had my pill inducted period and then 28 days later got my natural period.... from then on they have been roughly every 26 days!!!

yeah like said above that would have been a pill induced period you need to wait and see over the next couple of cycles to see if you settle into a pattern. good luck

When I came off the pill a few years ago, I didn't have a natural period for 9 weeks! but after that they started getting into a normal pattern.

Ah ty ty.

I was confused as thought that as I had no periods with depo and cerazette (8 years lucky me!) and had a bleed that my body was reacting to the drop in hormone as a result of coming off the pill. Silly me there is so much i don't know!

I had my period (or AF for short ), 33 days after stopping my pills (I was on the pill for 18 years non stop).

I was really happy as it can take several months for some ladies to start having regular periods.

Obviously the quicker they return to normal, the quicker you can start TTC properly, as you have a good idea when you are going to ovulate etc.

Its all quite confusing at first but you will get the hang of it in no time!!

I'm still not regular and I came off the pill at Christmas I had the withdrawl bleed straight away then I AF was about 28 days after that and then I waited about 82 days then 34 then 38 and now I'm expecting AF in about 2 weeks but who knows if it'll actually turn up I'm just hoping they're regular by the time we start TTC, we're currently waiting until after our wedding (so the dress fits!)
