Period like pains and back/rib pain

Has anyone else suffered with this? For the past few days especially I've been having a lot of sharp pains in my stomach and lower back and sides. I can't remember having any of this pain with my daughter.

I have been having this sort of thing too, but I noticed yesterday that the back pains stopped when I rested (I'd been in the kitchen baking Christmas cookies all afternoon) with the pains in your sides, did you ever get them before you were pregnant cause I've had these pains for years and they've just got worse with my pregnancy x

Hey was just about to post a similar thread ... I'm cramping a lot this morning with some sharper than others. I'm a little worried. I'm not bleeding or anything so that makes me a little more confident but I don't remember this last time. I'm resting a bit before I start work now xx

Astra I've found the pains are worse when I'm resting. They were really painful last night when I was in bed, and never had pains like this before.

Flexilexi, I'm the same really bad cramping and a lot of sharp pains all over. I'm not bleeding either which makes me feel slightly better but still don't know why I'm having these pains, I defo can't remember feeling like this in my first pregnancy. X

No I don't remember it - see your doctor because it could be bladder infection. I feel okay today thank god xx

Doctor tested for a bladder infection and it came back normal. I haven't had the pains so bad the last few days, think i may have overdone it as its been a busy few weeks with play group Christmas parties and harpers second birthday. How are you feeling now? Xx

Had too cramps in the last couple of dayd for a couple of hours (I'm ten week pregnant) but no bleeding. I called the go and he said it might be the kind of cramps that can come on the days I was supposed to have my period. I think I over did it in the last couple of days, today o took it slow and no pain luckily. Hope everything will be fine for you!

I just logged on to ask about this, tonight I have really bad period type pains! I'm almost to frightened to go to the loo in case I'm bleeding. I don't dare tell my husband, he'd panic!

TMI WARNING - I felt okay this morning and all day, and now I am in pain again after a bowel movement. I think this is normal in early pregnancy from the research I have done, your body has alien things growing inside and things have to move to make way for the baby to grow so I am assuming that is what we are all experiencing as we are all in early pregnancy.

give it another 6 weeks and with any luck we will all feel better xx
