Hi
Not sure if this will make sense but here goes! We have the TT Perfect Prep machine and for example, if we set the machine to make 4 ounces and put the right amount of powder in for 4 ounces, once it has added it's hot shot of water and then the cooled water the bottle reads that it has 5 ounces in it.
So basically, I get an "extra" ounce of milk than I wanted. I have googled like mad and it seems that there's loads of people saying this all over other forums and on the Amazon reviews etc.
Apparently, once the formula is added to the water it thickens the water thus giving a higher quantity. Surely though the machine should adjust the water so that you get the amount of ounces you ask for?
If you accept that this happens then do you say your baby's taking 4 ounces or 5 ounces? Does this happen with the good old kettle method?
Hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about x
