iv just set up a new pay pal and need some advie it says i have 2 confirm to payments made from them into my accont which i understand but does that mean i cant buy nething till iv told them these amounts?

Thats right im afraid, its a security test - if you can tell them the payments they have just made then they know the bank ac details youve given are actually yours.

If you dont want to wait for your bank statement maybe you could get a mini-statement from a cash point or call your bank?

Its annoying I know, but the more security checks the better as far as paypal goes I think

You just have to confirm back to them the exact amounts that they took from your account. That way they know that it is your account. Once you have done that the account will get opened. Its just a security thing that everyone opening a paypal account has to do

well you can actually buy things from e bay etc, you just cannot pay through paypal until you have confirmed the deposits through pp verification
