panic at the midwives

Last visit i tried to get them to discuss home birth with me but was a bit worried cos i didnt have date for moving house. I still don't have moving date to tell them when i go tomorrow.

She told me last time they might be reluctant to let me have the home birth cos they'd have to refer me to a different district. Thats rubbish cos if I move house before the birth it will be the same situation where the local midwives wont know me. Grr!

I think baby is still in a stupid position too... do we not have a hair tearing out smilie?!?!

Don't panic as from what my MW told me they don't book you in for a homebirth till you are 36 weeks anyways. Up till then they can't do anything officially booking in. And they don't deliver at home if you go into labour before 37 weeks.

I'd think you can move in a week or so and be fine. Don't take the MW trying to put you off.

theres no guarantee which midwife you'd get anyway, if your usual one was attending a birth elsewhere
