Pains

I have developed some weird and sharp cramping pains in my lower left hand side of pelvis the pain spreads to my privates.

Its mainly if I bend over, I havent done anything stressful today so I dont understand whats happened I am scared something has happened to baby!

Should I call the hospital?

i had those types of pains, when I was sitting I was ok but whenever I got up or moved from side to side I would have a pain in my right hand sign lower down, went to a and e and it turned out to be a urine infection, I have been on anti biotics and the pain has gone now. If you are worried you should always call the doctor, if still worried tonight phone nhs 24, they may tell you to go to hospital where they will give you a wee test. Seemingly it is very common. But it is a very uncomfortble pain.

I agree with missac, contact your m/w or alternatively NHS direct, I get pains in my right hand side usually when i turn over in bed, they are horrible!

Apparently they are just ligament pains

I had a really sharp stabbing pain low down on the right yesterday (it woke me up it was so bad). It kept coming & going randomly all day. I called MW to be on the safe side & she said as long as it doesn't come regularly (so you can time it) and there's no bleeding don't worry. Apparently sometimes baby can lie on a nerve?

If you're worried, call the midwife - good for reassurance if nothing else!
