painful sex

well last night me and OH got down to some lovin, but it was a bit painful and had to try another position. any reasons why this happens ?

How far through your cycle are you hun and where was the pain??

I was reading in my book last night that during the 2nd half of your cycle your cervix can drop to quite a low position and this can sometimes cause pain in the pelvic region.

Don't know if that helps or not

Hey Jemz

I agree with the above. If you are close to coming on your cervix will drop and go soft. Please don't take this to mean you can't be preggers as mine was very, very low for the first 3 weeks of my pregnancy.

I found sex abit painful and that my cervix was very low (had trouble getting my diaphragm in possition) just before I should have been due on, I have since found out I am pregnant maybe its a good sign

Pcos can cause painful sex. Are you under a consultant?

im in my 1ww, ive never had this before, the pain was like he was hittin the cervix tbh, and i had crampin straight after. With the pcos its never affected me this way i am under a consultant i go bk next week for my medication.

I find sex a bit painful especially after I've come on and sometimes in the few days before. I've started to realise that during those times that Hubby has to be extra attentive so I'm completley relaxed and (sorry tmi) turned on before intercourse. I feel like an old woman saying intercourse pmsl.

I take it this was a one off....if it continues then maybe go and see your doc.

i remember my sister saying that just before she got her BFP'S (this one reason why she thought she was preggers) she found sex to be a bit painful, maybe its a good sign, but maybe AF is due
