I'm wondering if Emms bad sleep pattern (waking up all through the night) is actually down to weaning rather than teething or maybe a combo of both. Last night she woke up every hour, hour and a half and each time had quite a good fart and then seemed ok and went back to sleep after a bit of boob.

Thinking back, this night waking did start shortly after me starting her on veggies and fruit. Sometimes she cries when she has wind so it must be painful. I do give her sips of water with her meals and she has a poo usually once a day or every other day. Sometimes twice a day. She is on 3 meals a day now.

Is there anything that can help with this? I thought I could try and do some leg cycles etc with her before bed to try and get rid of any wind, but is there anything else that I can do? Maybe this could be the answer to me being a zombie at the moment!!!

Oh no I truely am the thread stopper even of my own thread!!

Not to sure but believe babies need a low fibre high fat diet.. could she be having too much fibre? Cooper keeps me awake half the night with his wind..he bashes his head around then lifts his legs and farts dead loud it happens all the time and it does my head in :wall: xx

:rotfl:

I'm gonna be most unhelpful because I don't have anything constructive to say..just that this thread has made me chuckle..baby farts are fab :)

:rotfl: Poppy!!

Have you tried gripe water Loz? Your post made me think, as Ted is waking loads again...and last night he did an almighty guff when i turned him over, so tonight we plied him with gripe before bed...

I havent used gripe water since she was a newbie, but was wondering whether it might help or infacol, but i thought they were more for burps! I'm not sure if they help with farty bums, but i guess they might!!! I'd be interested to see if it works!!!

Yeah i stopped using it when he was wee, but it actually works a treat...farts n all!!!

Great - I will try! Did it make a big difference last night?

Last night i did have to give him some calpol too, but he slept through till 6am. Dead moany with his tooth before bed though (its just cut through) so it may have been that? But hey...:cheer:
