Pain

Hello,

i have a burning pain across the top of my bump - mostly on the right side. Is this just baby squashing my organs.

Also the tops of my legs feel very 'heavy'. Are these the joys of third tri? I've only been here a few days!!

Maybe your LO is just resting on a nerve or sore spot. I know Aimee is a lil squirmer and she has a lovely little habit of getting herself comfortable on the sorest of spots.
Someone who has been in here longer will have better advice!

Sounds normal to me. I used to get pains in various places when LO rested on a nerve. Up higher was when I got a foot under my ribs or had my stomach squished

The leg thing I always thought for me was down to carrying a heavier growing weight and that my body position altered to cope with it, leaning more forward.

If you are really worried call your MW, but tbh sounds like usual pregnancy aches to me. They happen all over

Hi..I get a pain at the top of my bump...sometimes it's itchy, sometimes it's like pins and needles or it hurts/burns a bit. I think it's just Lo squashing things or top of bump stretching!

If it gets too bad I'd mention it to midwife.

Thanks, I think I am just being squashed. If I could work laying flat it would help!! Not sure my manager would appreciate that though! I have put a cushion under my hips which is easing the burning a bit. I think she has just shifted position over the weekend. Am gonna test my ball out later to see if that works and if it does I may get one for the office.

I have the burning pain, too, but it is more like muscular pain. I find when I suck my tummy in and slouch a little for a minute or two it helps. Either that or I will press down on the area and that helps... But it comes right back!
