I went to the ER on Monday night for excruciating pain in my lower abdomen. I am only a little over 4 weeks pregnant, and they found a large cyst on my left ovary. They said this was normal but it would explain my pain. It's 2 days later, the pain is worse, and it is non stop. Could something else be wrong? Anyone else go through this much pain early on? Thank you.

I would go back hun; I had pain & it was ectopic.

I dont want to scare you but they can be life threatening if left untreated.

Please go!!

Just to be safe xx

That's what worries me... they said that they didn't see anything and that it looks like I conceived in my left ovary and that's why the cyst is there... I hope that it's just the cyst and nothing else!

Did they say what the cyst was called? I had some sort of cyst and it was something to do with where the egg came out... It had gone by 10weeks. I didn't have pain though. x

They said that it was normal to have a cyst during pregnancy so it's not something thats dangerous but that everyone has different levels of pain, mines just very bad

Could be a corpus lutheum which is a cyst every pregnant woman has as it appears on the side you ovulated.

Please go back & insist on a scan or blood tests to check HCG.. If it is ectopic they will be able to tell from blood tests if they can't see anything from the scan.

xx
