Ok, I'm gona sound really dumb, but I havent got a clue about these!! I know the two lines have to be there in the same strength for it to be positive....but what about faint lines? Does the degree of faintness of the line mean anything?
Thanks!! xxx

the test line must be as dark as or darker than the control line.

To ovulate your body creates a surge of the LH hormone. The opks look for this hormone in your pee and as the surge is just before you ovulate the opks dont tell you that you have ovulted - thy tell you that ovulation is about to happen. On my opks, i test daily so I see agradual increase in the darkness of the lines until I get a positive result and I ovulate. bear in mind, opks only predict ovulation - ie the surge is happneing but the egg may not be released for any number of reasons. only charting temperatures can confirm ovualtion occurs as you get a temperature shift.

good luck
