Ovulating twice in one cycle

I have always wondered this, just out of curiosity....

If you were to ovulate twice in one cycle, but only one egg was fertilised, would you still have a period from the unfertilised egg and still be pregnant by the fertilised egg?
Its just something I have always wondered and could never find the answer of! I hope you understand what I mean lol

hun as far as i know if you do ovulate more than once it happens within a day or 2 and if your lucky like me you get 2 for the price of 1 :D twins as far as i know if only 1 gets fertilised you will still not get your period as your body produces hormones as soon as egg implants that should stop af happening well i didnt explain that very well perhaps someone else can do it better lol :rotfl: xxxxxxxx
