overtired?!

since 10am max has slept for a total of about 2 hours maximum - all about half hour spurts.

this is so unlike him, he usually sleeps for most of the day. hes soo whingy today ive just been out for a walk to try and make him sleep but not even that worked!

me and OH are sharing a car at the moment as hes choosing which one to buy (hurry up- men!) and hes at work so i cant even take him out in the car.

ive been in the car with him twice today, both times he fell asleep for 10 mins and that was it- usually it makes him sleep for ages!

am i mad in thinking he could be teething this early? i can see two white buds under his gums at the front of his mouth- but i suppose all babies could have this? hes just been so unsettled the last few days im trying to work out whats up!

hes not eating anywhere near what he usually eats either. hes on gaviscon for reflux and im giving him water to alleviate his constipation.... using colief for colic.

ive run out of ideas!

How old is he? Just wondered as I am having EXACTLY the same problems with Evie at the moment!! Have just posted a thread about brain development hoping someone will shed some light on the problem!!

Mine is 7 weeks on Wednesday too and I've had the exact same problem all day! Normally his dummy settles him instantly if he's upset but nothings working and he's having quite a few proper wailing moments. It's so unlike him to be unsettled

I was thinking it might be teething. Although it's early, he was born nearly 2 weeks late so dunno if that makes a slight difference in development :/

Bought calpol which he liked but he's still very grizzly. Gonna buy some teething gel tomorrow!

I've got some teething gel I'm gonna try it after his next feed as it says you can use it from birth!

Weird how they're same age and doing the same thing it could be the stage they're in .. Hopefully it will pass!

He's just slept for 45 mins now he's awake again. This is gonna be an awful night

It could well be teething if he's off his feeds a bit too. It's never too early for teething really as some babies are born with teeth. Phoebe started around 9 weeks. You could use a bit of dentinox teething gel, that's suitable from birth. I hope he settles down soon x

Yeah possibly it is then!!

Its dentinox I have yeah think ill give it a go but won't over use it. Then see how he is tomorrow
