Our Names....girls name help please :@)

Well, we've decided on our boys name, I have just posted in the off topic about the reasons why so I won't bore you all, but we are struggling with a girls name........

BOY Benjamin Nelson

GIRL Atm Isabelle or Jasmine (I like Minnie OH hates it so with Jasmine I almost get my way as I'd call her Minnie at home - he doesn't know this yet - I'm evil ) - surname is Johnston so not sure about Jasmine Johnston what do you think? Can any one else suggest anything.....OH likes names that can be shortened (e.g. Ben & Issy)

i do like Jasmine and i have been sat her saying it out loud it doesn't sound bad with Johnston

I prefer it to Isabelle to be honest

What about Francesca, shortened to Frankie?

Minnie's my fave too - it's so sweet. Husband not keen either though.
I prefer Isabelle to Jasmine but both are pretty.

Love franscesca but Frankie is Chris's best mates name (Francesco) so think it would be a bit weird for me.........do you think I could convince OH's mate to change his name so we can have it?!

My worry with Isabelle is that it is becoming quite popular isn't it?

I really like Jasmine but im not sure if id shorten it to Minnie as it reminds me of a vagina!!! I know a few ladies who refer to their bits as a 'Minnie' lol

If you like Jasmine you may also like Yasmine, (we liked that alot)

Its so hard isnt it, first finding a name then both agreeing!

My friend is called Jasmine and she's known as Jazz, it really suits her.

It goes fine with Johnson, she'll probably get called "Jay Jay" at school but I think that's pretty cool 8)

Isabelle is getting very popular but I quite like Belle for short?!

I'm not sure if Jasmine sounds too good with your surname but what about Yasmine. I really like Isabelle aswell or Isabella. Some other names that can be shortened are
