Yesterday we had a 36 weeks growth/presentation scan.
I was diagnosed with a bicornute uterus at the beginning of the pregnancy and have also been measuring small from 28weeks. After the scan the sonographer gave us the estimated weight for our little girl. I didn't think my bump was that big and with measuring small I assumed we would be having a little baby. I am quite petite myself size 8/10 before pregnancy. Well as they say you should never assume wow we are expecting a very little chunky monkey with baby already weighing 6lbs 7. If baby stays put for the next 4weeks and puts on what they are meant to baby will be born over the average weight! Much to my OH amusement. I had prepared myself for labour being painful. But now I'm really scared haha:shock:

Lol I know how you feel. I get told how huge I am all the time so last week I asked the midwife whether she was a big baby, she laughed and replied 'well she certainly isn't small' and then she went on to tell me about a lady who she'd visited that morning who's baby was 10lbs 10oz - I was like, why are you telling me this?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xxx

On the plus side, all my friends who've had kids have said that bigger babies are actually easier to deliver, so I'm clinging on to this, even if it isn't true! x

I thought mine would be small too. We had a growth scan on Monday as bump had stopped growing (apparently)and baby is already weighing 7lb 3oz. I'm worried he will be huge.

Good news is that his head was measuring a bit smaller. I was really worried as we have a bit of a family history of huge headed babies!

I guess there's just no telling how big a baby will be.
