OT - Going to see Steps tonight :D

Heehee, still a big teenybopper at heart, I am going to a Steps concert tonight! Yes I'm nine months pregnant, yes it's outdoors and it's pouring with rain, and yes I am on crutches. But I am going to sing and dance my little heart out!

Hubby's coming with me, bless him, his idea of his worst nightmare really, but he's going to look after me and take me home when I get too tired.

This will probably be the last chance for me to see one of my favourite ever pop groups live in Scotland ever again so I'm going to make the most of it!

Pointless thread really, but I'm rather excited!! xx

Have loads of fun!! I went to the one in Sheffield when I was 26 weeks and I didn't see much of it because I was at the side & EVERYONE stood up throughout the whole thing & I really couldn't stand so missed most of it as I couldn't see maybe if I had crutches I would have had something to lean on have a great time!! Xx

It was awesome girls, I had a blast. The not fun thing was all the drunk people falling into me, but that bugs me even when I'm not pregnant. It amazes me though that people can look at the massive bump, and the crutches, and still think it's appropriate to push right past you.
Hubby was very protective and I had my big sister and her friend there too, which was nice!

Have to say Peter Andre was not my cup of tea (my 12 year old self would have had a fit if she heard me say that, I used to love him!!) but Steps were just as brill as they always were.

Got some good old fashioned boogying in, and managed not to go into labour, phew!

I've kept the tickets so I can say to baby that it was their first concert!! Hubby says if he/she turns into a teenybopper it's my fault and I have to go to all the cheesy concerts with them Fair dos xx
