this mornin and most of day ive had quite a bit of brown discharge looks like old blood. i also did an opk and the second line was faint but not that faint wot does this mean?

Don't know about the discharge (where are you in your cycle?) but any line on an opk that isn't as dark as the control line means nothing - it's your body's normal level of LH fluctuating through the month.

have you had a positive opk jemz? got my first one yesterday and its a definate darker line

well ovulation is supposed to occure today and its my first time using an opk. im on my 14 day of my cycle so im not sure wot to think

Hiya :D

I'm guessing by you assuming O day was today you have a 28 day cycle. My cycle is 28 days & I O on day 13. Using OPKs from day 14 may benefit you but you should start from around day 9.

Also do not test with an opk with FMU - A mistake I made for months  which I thought I'd mention incase :D

Ovulation spotting is possible also - Then theres implantation ... Good luck x

if yu think ov should be day 14 the the opk needs to be done before as you have the LH surge 24-26 hours before you ov so if you've only done one today then you may well have missed the surge :(

ok theres not a problem i aiready started bdin a few days ago lol. just wanted to know wot it ment.
wots ov bleedin tho?

Thats cool them jemz, this is wat www.babyhopes.co.uk has to say on ov bleeding
Sometimes, during the middle of a woman's menstrual cycle, when she is ovulating, she may have some bleeding. Ovulation bleeding is different from the regular menstrual flow. Ovulation bleeding tends to be pink to red in color. Ovulation bleeding is lighter than menstrual flow. Ovulation bleeding typically will last for one to two days.

A variety of factors can cause ovulation bleeding. For most women who experience ovulation bleeding, the cause is not clear. It may be related to the emergency of follicles. Hormones prompt ovaries to produce around 20 follicles that contain an immature egg, and out of this only one follicle matures. It is during this process of maturing and bursting out from the follicle that pain or bleeding occurs. Ovulation bleeding that is severe or that lasts longer than a couple of days can be a symptom of certain medical conditions, including endometriosis.

Bleeding episodes that are 2 weeks apart suggest that there may be a lack of ovulation altogether. A variety of conditions can cause this, including irritation to the cervix, polyps in the cervix, or polyps in the uterus.

Sorry its a bit long
