reversing into a bay, got it spot on target, except I forgot to look out the front as well as the back window, and the front swung out and hit a metal pole :(

Oh Babe dont worry...mine is much much much worse!!! £688 quid bad!!! and covers the whole real panel!!!

Ooops.

I did the same to OH's car the week after I passed my test. I mis-judged a space and scraped the whole of the side on a trolley bar - there is now a blue go-faster stripe down the side.

The worst though was that it was really busy and I didn't think I could get it out without making it worse - I burst into tears and called a friend to come & reverse me out. :oops:

my mum done that once, in sainsburys car park, she parked next to one of the trolley bays, swung in and hit all the metal railing, and she was in my dads car, he didnt talk to her for one week :roll: :roll: :roll:

Ha - in that case I don't blame our parking ( :wink: ) I blame Sainsbury's for having too small parking spaces as I was in Sainsbury's and also a friend of mine did exactly the same thing in one of their other carparks.
