Hey Girls,

This is my first day of maternity, and i have been so bored all day, i just do not know what to do with myself!!!

What has everyone else been up to to pass the time??

Erm.... shop, clean, eat, read, watch DVD's, walk dog, meet with friends, nap and have a looky at PF :D xx

its my first day and i've been bored too! I went into town to do some shopping, had a nap and watched the French open.

Also sewed a toy for LO (as soon as i find the missing part i will finish that), did a little bit (a very little bit) of house work and ignored the garden and decided not to take a walk.

I need conversation!

So no tips i'm afraid. I am actually looking forward to my anti natal class tomorrow night and might go to the Bumps and Babes meeting on thursday even though i don't know anyone.

Oh and next week i might drive to Oxford to see moofa (if she'll have me)

I've been off a week (signed off) and have very quickly got into relaxing.

I'm finding it weird that I don't actually have to be anywhere at any particular time.

I try and have something planned for each day. Tomorrow seeing a friend. Wed having a haircut.

maternity leave is great..you just need to make sure you think of something to do each day, like a little task/job. :cheer:

like...wash baby clothes, pack hospital bag, buy???? for baby, meet up with someone for lunch, tidy out...something, walk to...???, go to hairdressers, read a book etc I have to admitt you do run out of stuff to do after a few weeks but I'm learning to relax and do nothing.
:D

Relax and enjoy your time to yourself. It takes a few days to adjust I found.

TBH I rested as much as possible in the 2 weeks before LO was born. Figured I'd need my energy for labour (and I was right  ). I still took regular walks each day and did stuff, but also made sure I napped, rested and ate well.

Just enjoy yourself and relax :)

You won't have time once your babies are here

I'm feeling a bit like this too, I feel like I should be cleaning or something but I can't be bothered!!

I have go a breastfeeding workshop today that I need to take a doll or teddy to

I think like others have said we just need one little thing to do a day just to stop the boredom kicking in.

I think my problem is that i have worked so for on i'm finding it hard to ajust to having nothing to do!!

I have packed my hospital bag about 10 times, i really haven't missed anythin, my nursery is complete, i have picked up my pram, i have washed babys clothes, i can't do anymore house work as i have nothing needing cleaned as i have done it all!!

I know some of you ladys are sitting overdue, but i have 12 days left till my due date but i just can't wait any longer to meet my baby!!

I'm so restless!!
