OMG @ top gear complaints

Motoring show Top Gear has been criticised by the BBC Trust after viewers complained about "highly irresponsible" footage.

The Polar Special featured hosts Jeremy Clarkson and James May drinking while driving as they tried to reach the Magnetic North Pole last year.

They sipped GnT as the drove across an iceberg, big bloody deal

Did the get complaints when they did the africa episode and Jeremy Clarkson drove round with the dead cow on top of his car and the fluids went all over the car??

I thought that one was more "offensive" then the polar one.

Like the article said, you can drink a small amount here without being over the limit or doing anything illegal.

Top gear wouldnt be top gear if it didnt have these "controversial" bits, they're what makes it!!

Like Clare said you can have a drink here and still drive as long as you're under the limit! People only kicked up a fuss because they have nothing better to do than sit and watch TV just waiting to complain about something.
