A few weeks ago we stayed at my FIL's house as it was DH's nanna's funeral. Last night we got a call saying that we had left some stuff under the bed.
It was 2 pairs of dirty knickers and a pair of dirty boxer shorts  I had put our dirty washing back next to the bed as we were leaving and it fell over. I thought I'd got it all but obviously not.
What's even worse is that my knickers are black and my cm has increased 10billion fold (think niagra falls   ) to the extent I change my pants 3-4 times a day... I'm sure you can imagine what state the knickers were in. NOT something you want your inlaws to see.

How the hell am I ever going to look them in the eye again. Not to mention they had been under the bed for like 2 1/2 weeks so I'm sure it was even more unpleasant than I am imagining.
It's funny really, but I know I'm going to have to go back to their house at some point and I'm not sure I could handle the shame!

i shouldnt laugh but.... :rotfl:

   they will forget about it soon!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

but

we take nieces and nephews on a short break every year and last year my sister called me to tell me that I'd accidentally packed some of my underwear in my nieces case.

Couldn't be the nice delicate stuff could it...noooooooo..had to be the hold your belly in and pretend they make you look slimmer knickers  and it had to be in the case that went back to my stick thin sister who found them hilarious  and to think we give them all a child free weekend once a year :shakehead:

Bloody cheek of her!

The only other thing is that I hope to God that DH's dirty pants weren't the ones that he used to wipe up his swimmers off his chest after he had some "personal time"...
That would just round this whole facade off nicely :rotfl: :rotfl:

Trust me honey you'll get over it. We had the in laws staying one week end and our son had just started toddling. I could hear him messing about at the side of the bedbut was too lazy to turn over and see what he was up to. It wasn't until I heard a buzzing noise as he disappeared out of the door that I realised what he had picked up!!!

He took his new 'toy' straight to nanny who said oh my goodness, what have you got there!! My OH just hid under the covers wettting himself while I had to go down stairs and face the music. I began to apologise , she glared at me and asked if I wanted a sausage sandwich for breakfast!!. Touche' That was about 7 years ago and from that day to this it has never been mentioned again!!

My mom in law has four children of her own (all boys) and is a complete prude. Not an experience I want to repeat!!

OMG :rotfl: only you :rotfl:

mind you - she must be used to that having had a teenage son once upon a time

just reminded me with timsmom's story - when my sister was in labour we were all at her house, and upstairs in her room trying to get her ready - she asked us to open a box in her room to find a hairband and then had a contraction...so she was unable to stop us opening the wrong box and finding her stash of toys :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: at both of those - it's funny when it's other people. LOL

I am going to take solice in the fact that, as my husband helpfully told me:
"At least they weren't white knickers with massive skid marks" :rotfl:
What does he think I am?!

OMFG how emabrrassing for all of you - did i mention my son took my husbands c*** ring in to my mil the other day, thank fook she didnt have a clue what ir was :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

hahaha cracking stories , not sure ive anything like em !

ohhhhh kinda , not as bad tho

got back from holiday to my mums ( have to ick doggy up) , opened case to get photos out we'd got developed over there , my case was buzzing :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: dont worry about it hun, Im sure they'll forget it in no time :D

Ive got no dirty laundry stories but when I lived at home with my Dad I came in one day to find he had moved my bed to run cables under the carpet - I kept my array of 'toys' under my bed so he must've had a surprise finding a rainbow selection of vibes, beads and balls :rotfl: Needless to say it was never mentioned!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: FAF!! This thread has cheered me up big time today :rotfl:

OMG!!!!!

Well I have a rather recent story.... this happened yesterday!!!!

My Dh had taken a half day as a guy was coming to collect a package and he wanted to be here. While we were waiting we had a bit of fun of our own including using one of my toys.

Once we had finished we went downstairs and waited for the guy to arrive. Knock at the door and DH went to do the pleasantries and handed him the package. The guy asked if he could use our bathroom. DH said that was fine. On the way through he stopped to talk to us a bit and then carried on to the toilet. I went into the kitchen to do some cleaning etc.

Guy left waving briefly in at me in the kitchen.

I said to DH that he should go and check upstairs as he felt shifty so he went upstairs. Just as he did I was filled with dread.
I told DH to go into the bathroom and see what I had left in plain view on the shelf by the sink.

All I heard was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Yep I had left my bright pink rabbit style vibe right there in plain view and in need of a clean!!!!! ewwwwwwwwwwww

I had got distracted and hadnt even cleaned it!!!!!

OMG!!! so embarrassed!!!!!!!

No wonder the guy left in a hurry!!!!! :rotfl:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I have a bad head this morning which is making me grouchy, but this thread has definitely helped cheer me up. Thanks girls :)
