Ok, so what happens now.

Right my work have said I can't return part time. They have good reason, and I can't appeal.
My mat leave ends on 30th Nov, and I've taken December off with my holiday I a culminated.
I have applied for a few jobs and 2 want someone to start ASAP.
How could I do this if I am still on Maternity leave until the end of November.

Are you still being paid smp by your current employer?

I would have thought you could notify your current employer you wont be returning at the end of november. They will then have to pay you for what holidays they owe you, but depending on how long you had off on maternity, you may owe them some maternity pay? Not 100% sure though, so ring your work to ask them for advice.

When you give your notice make sure you detail in it why you are leaving and send a copy to head office. You may suddenly find you have a right to appeal!
