i have reached the stage where B has grown up to much for me and i refuse to let him go even a lil bit, ur all gonna say u shouldnt, but i still cuddle him to sleep i just cant not as it means he can settle himself and doesnt need me for that ne more the thought of him putting himself to sleep really upsets me just want him to stay a baby and need me forever

I know what you feel like! I feel the same. 3 people said this week that OLiver does not look like a baby any more! He does not need too be cuddled to sleep . The other day he fell asleep on me for the first time in months and it felt so special and we had what i called a "bonding day"

I know exactly what you mean. Mel has been teething this week and so a couple of nights I've had to go in, give him some calpol and calm him down by cuddling him until he's nearly asleep and I just keep thinking how I ought to enjoy it while I can! (Never thought I'd say that about being up at 3am with a crying baby!). I love carrying him in my Ergo Carrier as it's like a sneaky way of getting very long hug in! Thing is though that he'll always need you, just in a different way. I still need my Mum- heck she was with me all through my labour hugging me and giving me a back rub, it's just a job that changes over time I guess.

I don't miss it cos I've never had it Rubie has never wanted to be held since she was born. She has never given me a hug or a kiss and has only fallen asleep in my arms a handful of times

I still cuddle Aaron to sleep for the pure fact he won't sleep if I put him to bed. He just plays and I would be there all night! I secretly enjoy it though . Going to buy him a light show thing and try and get him to be a big boy as I need to let go at some point

Aww hun im the smae way Kiara loves hugs and kisses , constantly coming on me during the day for snuggles. When she wakes at night we snuggle till she is half asleep then i put her down , its hard to stop when you love doing it .
