****October 2014 mummies****

Hello, I see it was a shopping day for mums and mums to be :) Coach glad you didn't get a ticket, very lucky!!!
It's amazing how your priorities change when you becoming a mum, so now we need right size doors and lifts everywhere. we need a map of mum and baby friendly places :)

My sister came over for a weekend yesterday so we went shopping today... i finished with pair of new pumps and coffee ... my feet are not made for walking anymore, but at least we managed to treat my nephew and my god children, and she treated herself :) our baby has beeen treated to lots of cute handmedowns after my nephew so need to start arranging couple of draws in my chest of draws to keep his little cute babygrows, hats, socks, blankets :) good day!

We have the Mothercare My3, which I don't think they do anymore (although they prob have an equivalent) and it's been fab. We take it through the woods on dog walks and all sorts and it copes so well. It is a seat and there are straps you unclip and it turns in a carrycot for a newborn, I loved the fact I didn't have to buy that separately and the whole thing cost under £300 so has been well worth the money. Also max still fits it where it's nice and roomy. I'll be giving all the covers a wash and using it for this one. I loved the oyster and would def have gone for that but i needed something rugged as we have 2 big dogs and go on lots of walks. I was recommended the phil and ted but just didn't like it for a newborn.

Max and his cousin are gorgeous together, they love each other so much but boy do they scrap, bit like siblings :) xxx

Thanks coachqueenie feel loads better now as had more regular movements this evening.

Sallyb I have this ever so often if I'm sleeping in a funny position I wake up abit sore or if I move or get up to quickly I have abit of pain! I mentioned it to the midwife and she said its
Nothing to worry about and I have a pregnancy pillow and it's the best thing ever can't sleep without it now!

Hi everyone,
Looks like we've been all busy. I was in bluewater, a huge shopping centre down here, with my son, mum and sister. Mum invited us to Jamie Olivers Italian restaurant in there. Posh I tell ya and the food was pretty bland but still enjoyed it.
Spend too much time at mothercare and can't believe how they justify to ask for so much money for a pram. I can go on holiday with my boys at some of their prices. :-) I did get a little baby grow that says I love my big brother on it.
And my son came back with a little thumper cuddly toy he got from Disney babies, hehe he knows I adore thumper, but what put tears into my eyes was this gorgrous baby cloth with a little white dog. He spend all his money on them two pieces, which I gave him to buy something for himself.
Really have to get back to the Disney store though as they have this cute thumper thing you can lay on the floor and put baby on. It's so soft...

CoachQueenie I expirienced that last year when my friend was over from Germany with her daughter. It's crazy how much I forgot with my son, simple shopping was not possible with her buggy. People would even run into it without care. Looking forward how it will be once I relay on my pram lol

Claire love how you reuse your doggy bags. I know I shouldn't laugh as I still get the odd sickness popping up but thank god is always when I am either at my home or my mums lol

Hi girls, hope everyone is ok and enjoying the bank holiday weekend. it's abi's 2nd birthday tomo so we have been getting ready for her party tomo! Baby wise getting more movement so feeling happy about that :-) xx

Sally happy birthday to Abi for tomorrow, hope party will go very well for little miss.

Vampsy your boys sounds lovely, looks like you are going to have a very caring brother for your lo.

Now question how many of you having emotional meltdowns? I had one small one weeks ago and massive today. I cried , I did swear. I lock myself in the bathroom to help me stop crying... I am in such awful state and I feel for my OH he thought it was his fault but I explained while crying that is not him but this stupid pregnancy.... I am so down now with the fact I am loosing control over my body, brain and emotions.... Hate my hormones.

Wow I've missed loads!!! Congrats everyone who had scans last week the pic's look awesome I am very jealous of all your lovely clear scans lol.

I seem to have got the nesting bug last week, everything had to be done in the house and done to perfection lol then hubby and I took a weekend to ourselves. Although hubby thought that going to his friends house for coffee counted as together time -_-, lucky for him his friend has a 4 month old and his wife was very nice and let me feed him and nurse him.

How are we all feeling today?? Claire I am loving the new use for doggy poop bags!!! I never would of thought of that, I must keep some around in case I get morning sickness (knowing my luck seeing as I missed it in tri 1 it will come with vengeance in tri 3). xx

Susan - I carry a roll of dog poop bags around with me even if our dogs not with us lol. They have been my life saver twice in the car now. :-)
I used to get travel sickness before pregnant but never like this and never with me driving. I didn't think you could get travel sickness if you drove but I was proved wrong there. I've tried sea bands but they don't seem to work :-(

No way!! I thankfully have never suffered from travel sickness and DH has travel sickness if he travels in the back but either way he just sleeps through it. I don't know may people those sea bands work for, when I worked in the pharmacy most people just wanted the pills to knock them out for the journey but clearly those aren't for use while pregnant and/or driving.

I normally only lift the poop bags when the dogs are with us but now I think I will put an extra roll in my handbag so I'm never caught short. x

Morning everyone, I haven't posted the last few days but still had a read :)

I've had a quiet bank holiday weekend. Painting pics with Joe and family meals xx I have been a bit breathless and having headaches but all part of the fun hey! Today I'm taking Joe out with my friend and her two little ones and then home for pizza and movie night.

I've finally defuzzed my body, put my tan on and feel more like myself ( at least for today lol)

Hope everyone has a lovely day and is feeling ok. I see there are a few scans coming up yay xxx

Steffy, happy birthday to abi :-)

Hope everyone enjoys their bank holiday monday. I am treating myself to a very lazy day... that's after I finished this annoying housework. Really wish I could have one of those housework fairies that come over night and when you get up in the morning everything is sparkling and nicely done...

Good luck Twinklin and Naomi with your scans tomorrow xxx

I've had a busy weekend of decorating, today we went to the in laws as OH had to fit a window with his dad for there living room. I sat and watched , I have an excuse now for not doing the manual work :-). At least I've kept busy enough to keep my mind off tomorrow.
