Lol pips I have days when I'm so grumpy, I'm going with it lol xx

Claire I haven't had lots of belly rubs yet, though a few people have taken to talking to the baby! The amount of people who are saying 'it'll be lovely if you have a little girl', it's got my back up big time. I've started snapping now that I don't have a choice and I'm happy if I have another boy. So bloody frustrating, I want a healthy baby and that's it! End of rant haha xxx
 
Claire I'm right there with u. Not many people have touched my belly but I feel uneasy and want to shout "get off", I also feel uneasy when people talk about ur bump. U are not the only one :-)
 
Hi ladies. Not been on here much so hello to any new ladies. Been having strange cramping so hoping this is normal and just stretching. Been starting to buy a few bits now. All very exciting xx
 
Congrats Eggburt!! I can't believe another blue!! The next person up for scan has to have a team pink! Lol! No one has touched my belly yet, but my DH's sister touched another girls bump when we were all in town yday and she has never reached out to touch mine, not that I want her to, I do think it's a total invasion of personal space! I always want to touch people's bumps but I never ever do unless I'm invited to!

Iv been very grumpy too, speaking of DHs sister... Her and her daughter were round yesterday and I showed them my changing bag and they kept saying but what if it's a boy? I'm carrying the bloody bag not the baby! And it's green, is green not gender neutral? They said yea green with bows on it! I got really annoyed after they left, I was prob totally over reacting but they could have at least pretended to like it! I didn't get the memo that the changing bag should match the gender of the baby!! Rant over lol xx
 
Haha coach if that's the case my black and grey bag is not very girl friendly then lol :-)
 
Coach - I had the same problem with hubby. Picked up the 'pansies' bag from the post office today - same range as yours, but with little flowers on it (love it by the way!) and hubby was all like "Well I can't carry that" - I tried to explain that I'll struggle to find a black changing bag suitable for men!

Bag is gorgeous tho, love that there's a changing mat in it!

Ooo twinklin I love the pansies one too! It's so so nice! Yea isn't the changing mat great, more padded than I expected! Oh and as for your hubby... U should do what iv done, sign up for boots parenting club and after about a month they send you out a voucher to get a free black changing bag when u buy a packet of nappies for £6.99 or something like that...problem solved ;) xxx
 
Well I was told today by a know it all first time dad of 3 month that the buggy we want coach is just a fashion statement and he's read so many bad reviews, oh and I shouldn't go out it when its windy.
 
A fashion statement... Pfffft, he's just jealous!! Lol! So when it's windy it's just going to blow away? Haha! Iv read waaaay more good reviews than bad!

Has anyone decided how long your going to work untill go on maternity leave? I'm just trying work out dates
 
I'm self employed so I'm just going to see how it goes... In my head I'm thinking of working on until the beginning of September but it will depend how my bladder holds up... With being in my car all day it won't bode well if I need to pee every 20mins! x
 
I'm looking at a month before I'm due then what ever holiday I'm due. It all depends if I can manage with my back x. I would leave now if I could lol
 
Last time I went 3 weeks before baby was due. This time I'm hoping to go the week before I'm due.
I went 10 days over due last time so had nearly 5 weeks of waiting around and really don't want that to happen again. x
 
I can't wait to start maternity leave. I'm planning on finishing by 37 weeks as I don't think I'll even be able to do the job after this! Xx
 
I suppose it depends on your job. I'm on my feet for all my shift , if I sat down may by I could last longer. But like I said I would leave now lol
 
Ahh thanks ladies you all seem to be thinking around the same as me, I'm gunna try work until 2nd week of Sept
