****October 2014 mummies****

Hope your grandad will be better soon Claire! Hope Monday will bring better times xx

Claire, I hope your grandad's well and home soon...

Beci, I thought lamb was an absolute nono during pregnancy. Well, it is here anyway.

I'm back at work tomorrow after our Easter break and I'm dreading it. These next two months are going to be hell. I was hoping I might have finished my dissertation by now and I'm nowhere near. AAAAAARGH! Everyone says you need to chill out when you're pregnant but all the factors are there for me to freak out daily. Can't wait for July! :(

You can eat Lamb, you just shouldn't eat it rare or pink due to risk of toxoplasmosis (or something like that). So the downside is you have to eat it well done. :-(

Well I've eaten the lamb dinner now so I hope it's allowed lol xx

That changing bag looks lovely Claire, really lovely of your OH xx pips I freak out over something on a near daily basis lol, always something to worry about! I don't think it's easy to relax during pregnancy at all, it's the start of a lifetime of worry! Xx

I had a chicken roast dinner, that my mummy cooked. Grandads still in hospital, he's still having tests, he had his bloods taken this morning but couldn't get any results because the 'system' is down. So until he gets any results he has to stay in.

This afternoon while watching football on TV my dad and brother was coming up with baby names. They first wanted Colin, then they decided on Conner. I told them I can't have any name ending in 'er' because I live in the west country , my OH and his family are very broad them coming from Bristol and we live in the sticks in Somerset. (Thankfully I haven't picked up the accent yet) . But I said any name ending in 'er' is a big no, no lol

Claire, love the bag. How lovely of your OH to get it for you both. I hope your grandad is doing better and I wish him a swift recovery.
Beci, tell me about worrying... I was actually surprised when my mw said that I could have a hot bath evety now and then. I am worried everytime I go into the bath that it's too hot and now she tells me this lol

That's good to know, I had a hotish bath this week then panicked all night that it was too hot!! Madness!! Xx

Hi ladies,
Sounds like everyone has been having a lovely bank holiday.
We've been out and about with Madison and making sure we make the most of the sun.
We're off to the safari park tomorrow as she loves animals so I'm hoping she enjoys it.

I was off work Friday with sickness and I've been feeling off ever since. Oh originally thought I could be a bit lactouse intolerant so decided I'd go dairy free for a week and see how I got on. Dawned on me today that actually the symptoms I've got are of constipation! Phaha crampy belly, feeling sick!
The joys of pregnancy.

I seem to be more of a lurker on the forum at the minute than a poster, need to sort it out! :)

x

Mrswoody its sounds like you are having a lovely time, which safari park are you going too tomorrow?

Thats exactly what I was like every time cus I read all those things on the Internet that you should never have a hot bath and all that. But after my mw said it's ok aslong I don't do it every day I am a lot less worried now lol
Pregnancy turned me so paranoid about things, I swear I wasnt like that when I had my son 11 yrs ago lol

I know what you mean, I'm far more paranoid this time round! I'm sure I wasn't even aware of half the things I worry about now lol xx

I am trying to not read too much and carry on as normal as possible. If I start double guessing myself then I will just increase my anxiety!

Good plan shootingstar x I have def read far too much lol xx

Claire we are off to Longleat. The one from the Animal Park show. I love if there! x

Shootingstar I know what you mesn. I do try and not read up too muc, but I always find myself looking things up. I think it's maybe cus its so easy with the internet nowadays... but I do really need to stop doing that lol

Ive only ever been there once when we had a crappy car we didn't mind the monkeys taking parts from lol. Longleat isn't too far from where I live now. So when little one gets older we can go when ever we like :-). Xxx

Hello girls!
Hello Claire! I liked this changing bag! I will show it to my OH and we will order it too))
Here these things are very expensive ( for baby). We are going to buy a cream by Mustela double action against stratch marks ( I want to try )
I had a busy day today ( also had blood test - second screening), everything is good! Just finished to feed kids ( we had pasta today )
I hope everybody is having a nice morning! xxx

Hi Sofia I'm pleased your bloods and screening went well today. On Wednesday I have a midwife appointment. Hopefully it will go well, I always worry a few days before I have appointments :-( but I'm sure we will be fine. Xxx

Claire! Dont worry! Really you wont change anything by your worries but will make yourself miserable! I stopped to worry - I believe if God gave me a chance to be a mother again - this is for reason.
We dont have a a midwife appointment- we go to a hospital ( public or private) and visit a doctor during pregnancy.
On next Wednesday I will go there too. I am going to stop to eat crap in this week ! lol Just to have a normal weight ))
