I find it difficult to find names to go with OH's surname. Pippa is a lovely name I think boys names are harder to decide. I was watching catch up eastenders earlier and the name Bella came up and thought that was quite nice.
Maybe not too early coach as my me asked me at my 16 week appt this tone and last time if I had felt baby. Think all depends on placenta position and baby position xx

I love the name pippa. My oh won't even think about names till we know the gender. I've been searching baby name lists for weeks.

I am still swaying to team yellow, but its so hard just to find neutral clothes. Especially when there are sell stuff on. If I do find out which by my scan picture everybody said girl I will have to keep it from my mum, she likes it when people don't find out so its a surprise so I will have to stay quiet.

We are also staying team yellow this time which I am excited about but then I walk into a shop and see all the gender specific clothes and so want to buy something. I guess I'll just put all the money I would've spent away and go on shopping spree when the baby's here

We've been discussing names. Our son is Max Dylan and it suits him so well it's really hard to find another name I love as much. We're pretty much decided on Theo Jack for a boy but have really struggled with girls names. So far we like Lillian Kate (Lily) but OH also suggested Sienna this morning so maybe Sienna Rose or Sienna Kate will be added to the list. My friends niece is Pippa and she's beautiful xxx

I'm so angry!!! I wasn't given a date for my 16 week midwife appointment when I finally got through after a very rude bitch on reception at my doctors who then gave me the completely wrong number to call. The appointment was already made and nobody bothered to tell me or write it in my appointment section in my medical notes. When I have the appointment on the 7th may I will be 17 weeks then.

Hello again everyone and all October mums! My due date is 21st October and I see there are 2 more on the same date so now it feels like I have some company! On a less serious note, this baby looks like she (gender unknown, btw, but sort of hoping for girl!) will be a scorpio and as it turns out, both her grandmothers are scorpios! So they'll probably get along and I will have to deal with all the emotional grandeur

My midwife rang me before and arranged my 20 week scan Thursday 5th June I will hopefully find out if we're team blue or team pink! It's 2 days after my little man's 2nd birthday too, and I'm off work for the week 6 weeks to go....

We don't seem to have 16 week midwife appointments here! Straight from 12week scan to 20 scan with nothing inbetween! What usually happens at a 16 week appointment? xx

All that happened at mine was got results from my blood tests and heard the heartbeat for the first time. Appointment was only about 10-15 mins

Not a lot coach! had my yday, urine check, bp check and listen into baby. that's it. I always think it seems a pretty pointless appt xx

From memory at the 16 week check the mw will check my urine for protein, check my blood pressure and listen for the baby's heartbeat, think that's about it.

Gemmylou - my 20 week scan is on Max's birthday as we're on holiday the week before xxx

Ah il not worry too much about it then I seen the midwife before my 12 week scan and they went through my blood test results, did BP and checked urine then! I think il survive waiting until 20 weeks lol although that's only 3 weeks away and still no scan date! xxx

Didn't they book it after your 12 week scan? they did after my 12 week scan with abi and with this one. Both different hospitals. Seems everywhere does everything so differently xx

OH MY GAWWWD! I was cut off from you ladies for a few days
Our Internet went and the company wouldn't fix it. Who cares about the dissertation I couldn't write, I couldn't get onto the forum!!!!! ...Especially now I've seen some of you were making lovely comments about my name. I love my name and it would be lovely to hear about a little Pippa coming to this world (obviously you know the child will be ridiculously intelligent and beautiful haha). I fell in love with the name Eliza, pronounced Eleeza, but oh won't have it. Sob.

I see my gynaecologist next Monday, for what they call a vaginal 'feel'. Sounds charming. Hope they give me a
