Numbness of the hip!

Can anyone tell me if this is pregnancy related or not.

Everytime I sleep on my right hand side a get a numbness in my hip. It doesn't happen any other time and I have tried changing night clothes, just in case it is the stitching pressing against my skin.

It is causing me difficulty in that I am funding it very difficult to fall asleep, with breast the size of melons I am unable to sleep on my front!!!!

I reasure you that I have not gone mad, although sometimes the pregnancy brain makes me feel that way at times.

no i have never had that so i wouldn't be able to help you. i can't sleep on my right side anymore because i feel pain in my right arm whenever i do. i can only sleep on my left side. i'm not used to it but its the only position im comfortable in

I was getting this and in my shoulder aswell. I put it down to a back problem I have and mentioned it to my osteopath who said it was ligaments etc getting more spongy and lose. He advised me to sleep on my back for a while with pillows either side of me to stop me rolling over and it went away after a while. I can sleep fine on my side now but it did used to wake me up and be quite painful. If it gets too bad see your doctor. Our bodies are doing all sorts of crazy things
