hi guys

ok from 3.00 today I have had bearable cramps or contractions every 20min bang on.

They start in my hips and travel up, I go bright red with each one, then I feel them in my bum and need to go to the loo....they are not the type of braxton hicks i have been feeling.

Anyway, packed bags and went to mother-in-laws as she isn't drinking while OH went to pub with his dad and brothers, typical eh...

anyway, sat with mother-in-law all night as they came, again im not in agony but they were regular and i find i loose my breath as the tightening rises.

I texted happy chick to let her know so she could tell you if i went to hospital then...

9.00 I eat some tea and they stop !

I don't get another one for 45mins and now I am getting mild tightenings every 7min, 15, 20 nothing to painful.

I just feel VERY uncomfortable, have bad leg cramps, really aches sore joints as i have not been able to sit AT ALL today I have had to walk/stand/move not been able to rest at all and I am now getting tired.

Going to try and sleep and see what the morning brings, I was excited now I am scared and OH is not being very supportive at all (he has been off all week), I will have to rely on his mum to get us to the hospital.

OH has gone to bed so I am alone with these on off pains......do you think it is worth calling the hospital?

i think the hospital will just tell u 2 time them and wen they are more regular n stronger 2 go in to see whats going on unless you get worried then you should phone up.

Theres no harm in phoning up and asking anyway to ease your mind a bit and maybe get sum advice on getting comfortable and easing some discomfort.

Ive got my fingers crossed for you.

Ooooo action :cheer: :cheer:

I'd not worry about calling the hospital yet, but thats just me. No point going in this early. Stay at home as long as possible :)

Some people seem to find they stop and start for a couple of days so you might have more of this ahead before things really get going.

See how it goes today and if need be later on give em a call. Rest, eat, have a bath, relax and get your TENS machine ready

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Hi babe, hope you got some rest last night
Your symptoms sound very similar to how my labour began! Keep an eye on it, as Sherlock said, it is best to stay at home for as long as possible, but if you are in prolonged pain and aren't getting rest, I would go and get checked. (I waited four days/nights - perhaps too long because then I was very tired in labour)
Good luck, I hope the pains either go away so you can rest or kick in to get labour over and done with asap.
Thinking of you
