I was wondering if any of you mums who live in the Manchester area know of any good mum and baby groups?

I have had a look on the web and most of the ones I have found that I can get to all say 6mths/12mths plus.

None of my friends in Manchester have children and I would love to meet some other mums in the area. (I'm really looking forward to the m/cr meet for that reason).

Am in Sale.... have car can travel m/cr area just not upto Bolton way ordown to the depths of cheshire which is where a lot of the nct ones are

Sorry to pry, I don't live in Manchester, but I wondered if you have looked at http://www.netmums.com?

I found it invaluable and found lots of baby groups from 0 months within 1-5 miles of where I live.

Just thought I would mention it, sorry if you've already looked.

(btw, you have to register and state where you live. Then go to 'Places to go' and then look for Toddler Groups on the side menu.)
