Hi ladies! This isnt baby relates but I'm not a member of any other forums so I always come here when I need to ask something

So, I'm throwing my husband a surprise 50th party in July so I'm starting to get everything organised now.

I'm trying to think of something decorative and/or party favour kind of thing, to put on the tables. The function room rules say we can't have confetti or party poppers :/
Ideas so far: Little personalised chocolates but they're pretty expensive so I wouldn't be able to do anything else on the tables with them. Bubbles - cute and I think I definitely want these! And cameras, but omg waaaaayyyy out of budget.

So I'm trying to think of something cheap or something I can make myself to put on tables for our guests.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

It depends on much you want to spend and how many people are coming for my grans surprise 70th i got little favour boxes and filled them with sweeties just cheap ones like tescos own jelly beans etc. And filled the kiddie ones with a few little party bag toys etc. You could put a little poem or note inside for a personal touch. A few life mottos or print iff a few funny memes from google about getting older depending on sense of humour/what your intention is

You can buy little favour bags on eBay quite cheaply and get a big tub of sweets as suggested above - bet you can get a big tub from amazon cheaply!

Just had my daughters baptism and I bought a batch of 30 stripey pink paper bags with a personalised label on then. This in total cost £2 on ebay. I filled them with sweets. In total the sweets cost £8. Tied them with ribbon which cost £1. So £11 in total! They looked really nice along side everyone's place setting.
