I am thinking of getting one of these dogs, has anyone had any experiance with one?

hey, just seen this post :) and thought id drop by to say that i used to have a lot of contact with northern inuits... depending on what kind of owner/breeder they have come from they tend to be very sweet natured but strong and need alot of excersize.
xx
ps thanks for sunday :)

Don't know the breed much but a bit of reading tells me that they are not for the novice owner but can make good family pets in the right hands.

Apparently its common for them to suffer separation anxiety and become distressed and destructive when left. I am guessing as they are more a pack dog.

They sound like they make good family pets but will require lots of effort, time and training to ensure they settle and develop well. Not sure about their energy levels and how much exercise they require usually either. Generally I'd expect that kind of breed to need a large amount daily and also to require mental stimulation.

Look lovely in pics :)
