no scan date yet

i am getting a little bit concerned that i have not had the date through yet for my 12 week scan. i phoned the midwife last week and she said i should receive it this week but it hasn't arrived should i be worried?

No I was 11 weeks before I had my scan date through, and I will be 13 weeks when i actually have my scan.
Dont worry, I bet you have the letter next week, remember there is a postal strike today, so it could be stuck in a sorting office somewhere!!!
If you haven't had it by end of next week then be worried!!!!!

Well I am still waiting for my first scan. My midwife went mad today when I told her I had still not had any date or call from the hospital and my pregnancy is considered a high risk as I have had bleeding in all my pregnancies and genetic deformities run in my family, (I have a brother and a sister with Downs syndrome, and a sister that died at 4 months from Edwards Syndrome, and I carry a genetic marker)...but I am still waiting.

She spent half an hour on the phone shouting at people at the hospital.

You will get a scan eventually, but I would keep on at the midwife until they do something about it, especially if you have not received anything today.

i had to ring to book my scan and i will also be over 12wks when i have mine..... i asked loads before i finally got my date

I rang the midwife again yesterday.. she put me in contact with the antenatal clinic... they told me my scan was yesterday LOL... thanx for telling me.. it was too late for me to go.... I never received a letter.. they said they sent it out the tuesday before... oh well... I got my scan rebooked for 9th July....

I got my letter through in the post today. 30july which will make me 12 and a bit weeks. I see the midwife next week for the 1st time
