OH and I are planning a break on Monday night through to Wednesday morning. We had planned to book ourselves into a spa and have some pampering treatments etc, while leaving Naomi in a creche for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple in the afternoon.
We were all ready to book into a great looking place that do hot stone massages and deep tissue massages and deep facials etc... but when OH asked what their babyminding facilities were like the receptionist said...
"we have none."
OH said "What, none at all?"
Receptionist: In fact we don't allow anyone who is under 18 into the hotel."
OH: You mean that you don't allow under 18s into the health area?
Receptionist: No, sir, we don't actually allow any under 18s to stay in the hotel as guests. We have no baby minding facilities because people under 18 are not allowed to stay here."
Might as well hang a sign outside that says "no breeders please"...
Needless to say we booked somewhere else.
Now looking forward to a fabulously indulgent deep facial, full body massage and pedicure, and perhaps some horse riding too...
