nnnnnnnnooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! :o(

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Send em off to that Ebay feller someone was on about on her the other day?

iv done quite well out of them i suppose really- iv had them at least 3 years. i got them end of 2004/beginning of 2005 around that time. and i use them 3 or 4 times a week, plus i have LOTS of hair its really really thick.

what other brands are AS GOOD as ghd's? i need to have really good ones as my hair needs some taming- iv got a serious 'fro goin on!

look, this is the difference ghd's make- the first pic i took a few minutes ago (urgh yuck i do look like a crackhead) and obviously i cant do one of my straightened hair coz my ghd's are goosed- so i foraged on my pc for an old pic- i think that one was taken just before christmas or something. but see how smooth my hair was! thats the miracle of ghd's that is! lol my hairdryer just wont smooth out my hair- its only a 1600 or 1800 and the flat nozzle that came with it is really wide- about 10mm! nowhere near narrow enough to compress the heat. and my paddle brush is tiny and pants :(

pics of my hair 1) without ghd's; and 2) with ghd's.

*removed terrible pic!* lol

 i feel your pain trixi, i had to go without any for nearly 3 months   its hard, but you WILL get through it xxx

I refused to pay the cost of GHD's so I got GHS ones instead, I'm really happy with them but never having used GHD's I can't really compare.

I got mine off the net from GHS and they arrived after a couple of days (just google GHS straighteners or GHS direct if you're interested).

I got a blue pair cos I love blue :)

Hope you manage to replace yours with something soon hun, it's horrible being without them

Hey Trixi I have a pair of brand new pink ones I'm trying to sell, EBAY won't let me sell them because GHD don't like people doing it. They're mark 4 ones still in the box, got them as a present and I've got the black ones. Trying to sell them for £70...

Send them back to GHD Trixie!

My friend did after hers broke, The guarantee had run out but they still fixed them for free :D
You just fill in a form on the website.

It's worth a try

Arrghh my worst nightmare!! I've only just bought mine and they get used on a daily basis, I'm hoping they'll last a while

ARGH i never registered them tho  will that matter? how do i go about it?

I kept dropping mine on the floor which didn't help them any and one of the plates fell off. Sold them on ebay for near half what I paid for them and had very clear pictures of the nick of them! :rotfl:

ring up ghd they will give you an address too send them too
i didnt register mine either, i got a brand new pair within 2 weeks

My friends GHDs broke so she sent them back to be repaired and they sent a new pair. The next day she stepped on them and they cracked, so she sent them back (and told them how they broke) and got another new pair. She'd had the original ones for at least 2 years..
