Hi all!

I'm Beth, just a little over 15 weeks pregnant and can't wait to see my baby! The doctors were wrong with the dates, so I went to a 12 week scan last week and turned out I was 14 weeks, meaning I can not test for Down Syndrome, unless I want a big needle stuck in my tummy

So far, been lucky with the pregnancy, only had morning sickness maybe 7 times, went through the tired period quickly and now just getting over the peeing every 20 mins!

Went for my monthly check up today, everything is fine, blood tests are all good and nothing is wrong. Just a little wierd that I have lost 4 pounds in one month, are you not suppose to gain weight?

Ach, well, I've ran my trap long enough!

Hope to see youa ll around

Ciao xx

hi welcome to the forum..

can you still not have the downs tests as i didnt have mine till i was 16 weeks...

They told me that at 12 weeks, the baby is small enought o test, something like 85mm, not so sure on the size, or whatever, I never understand them!

Apparently after 12 weeks, the baby is to big to tell by measuring and having a proper check up, yes there are blood tests but they won't judge by themselves. So I can be text up to 5 months by by sticking a needle into my tummy.

So, no thankyou, keeping the baby, just have to wait and see!

CONGRATULATIONS  and I hope you have a good pregnancy. Your lucky, I am still very tired and needing the loo constantly, but shouldn't be too long before it settles down.
