New to forum and 7 Weeks pregnant

Good evening

New to this forum so I wanted to say hello.

Recently found out we're expecting our second baby which is great. We were only trying for a few weeks...

A bit of a shock as Charlie's so little but... sooooo exciting!

OH is definite that we want to keep it a secret from everyone this time as last time people found out but man alive... that's going to be tricky over Christmas!!! Any tips on helping us keep it a secret will be welcome!

Hello and welcome! Congratulations and wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months! Maybe you will have to go with the "I'm on antibiotics" line. Or I did manage for a bit drinking non alcoholic wine and pretending it was real wine but that only works at home! x

Thanks for the tips. This winter sickness bug has hit my family so I've been able to hide my tiredness and nausea quite well. I think drinking some non-alcoholic wine will work or just some OJ and lemonade and 'vodka'!

Are you pleased to be having them so close together? I really wanted a small age gap but I must admit I am a bit nervous that it'll be a bit mental!

It'll be fun I'm sure though. Exciting too!

Congratulations! Saying you're on antibiotics is always a good excuse. Especially if you say it's for an ear infection or something non-contagious so people don't keep their distance! Good luck x

Yeah, happy but nervous. Met someone who had two with a 20 month age gap and she said that it was fine at first. She is finidng it more tricky now her youngest is crawling.

I am thinking that it will be hard but at least I won't have given myself anytime out of the brestfeeding/baby stage yet. Hopefully it will just be a case of carrying on but with two... hopefully!!!!
