New jab for babies...

I got a call today from the nurse at the surgery to say bradley isnt up to date with his jbs, yet he is, but its new one apprantly against pnemonia(sp) anyone know what this is about..

he has to have it at 10.30 in the morning, i thought he was over jabs now till school...

i was told they introduced this late last year. the book i was given when alice was born (beginning of dec) was already out of date.

alice has had one with her first set and is due another one tomorrow.

but then her docs have messed up the dates she was due to have her jabs and she is a month behind where she should be!

But what i dont understand is why is he getting it when he is nearly 2 yrs old.. i can understand in babies..

Thea had her's with her fpur month injections but I believe all children under 3 will be asked to have it in the UK

Thank you melanie, im going there shortly so i will ask about it,

Im one of these mums who want to know what my children are being jabbed with lol, and like to read up about it and as i only had the call yesterday and not excatly sure what it is about then i havent had a chance, at least i will be prepared for this new baby though..
